Background[]
The Norwegians recieved M24's from the US during the 1950s to rebuild their armed forces, converting 54 out of their 123 M24 Chaffee's to the NM-116 during the 1960s, unofficially nicknamed the "Panserjager". They changed the engine, transmission, and enlarged the fuel tank, added night vision and laser ranging, and fitted it with a French 90mm D/925 gun.
